Padmini actress Vincy Aloshious: I always wanted to work with Senna Hegde

Vincy Aloshious is a promising young actress who has played a variety of roles. In a short span of time, she has bagged big-ticket projects like Vikruthi and Jana Gana Mana.

Her next film is Senna Hegde's Padmini, and in a recent interview, Vincy revealed that ever since she watched Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam, she has wanted to work with Senna. So much so that she accepted Senna's offer to star in 1744 White Alto even before she heard the story of the film.

“Everyone who dreams of acting would want to work with Senna Hegde after watching Thinkalazhcha Nishchayam. When he called me for 1744 White Alto, I accepted straight away, even before he could tell me the story,” Vincy told Club FM in an interview.

Vincy also praised Senna for his ability to complete a film in a short span of time.

“Any production team will be happy to do a film with him. 1744 White Alto was completed in just 18 days. The estimated schedule for Padmini was 45 days, but he finished it in 22 days. Senna believes in his actors and gives them a lot of space to perform. Like his previous films, most of the scenes in Padmini are taken in single shots,” Vincy added.

Vincy debuted in Soubin Shahir’s film Vikruthi after she was spotted at the talent hunt show, Nayika Nayakan. Even though the film didn't do well, Vincy's acting in the film was appreciated. She was also lauded in Bheemante Vazhi, which stood out for its well-written female characters.

Vincy then played the protagonist in the revenge drama Rekha, which is about the subjugation faced by women and how they are silenced. While her performance was lauded, Vincy revealed in a recent interview that her family objected to her doing intimate scenes in Rekha.

Padmini marks Vincy's second collaboration with Kunchako Boban after Bheemante Vazhi. In the film, she plays Smrithi, a woman who elopes the day after getting married.
