Pagaivanuku Arulvai Teaser: M. Sasikumar as suave gunslinger promises a thrill ride for fans

Kollywood fans rejoice as the makers of Pagaivanuku Arulvai have a treat in store for viewers. The highly anticipated film’s teaser trailer was unveiled today by director Pa. Ranjith on his Twitter handle and it is rife with blink-and-you'll-miss-it action.

Touted as a gangster film, the trailer of the film features scenes from two wildly different worlds interspersed together, one being a bleak and dismal prison and the other a luxurious brightly lit mansion, where more than a few unsavoury businesses seem to be going down. And of course, no crime drama would be complete without the air ringing with bullets.

Lead star M. Sasikumar is introduced as a charming gunslinger who smiles even with a pistol shoved in his face. A few other glimpses feature stars Bindhu Madhavi and Sathish Ninasam with firearms in their hands as well, promising a thrill ride for the audience.

Directed by Anis, Pagaivanuku Arulvai stars M. Sasikumar, Sathish Ninasam, Vani Bhojan and Bindhu Madhavi in lead roles.

The film will mark the Tamil debut of the Kannada actor Sathish Ninasam, whose first look poster was unveiled recently and had made waves with fans.

According to reports in The Hindu, the film takes inspiration from the Shakespearean play Macbeth, with Sasikumar’s role in particular based on the titular character. The film had begun its principal photography back in December last year.

Pagaivanuku Arulvai has onboarded 4Monkeys Studio as producers. The film’s music is composed by the popular Ghibhran.
