Pakka Commercial OTT release date: When and where to watch the entertainer starring Gopichand, Raashii Khanna

Director Maruthi, who has carved a niche for his comic capers and family entertainers over the years, joined hands with actors Gopichand and Raashii Khanna for a wholesome laughter ride Pakka Commercial recently. The film, jointly produced under UV Creations and GA2 Pictures, had released in theatres on July 1. Telugu OTT platform aha had bagged the film's streaming rights. Now, Pakka Commercial, after its theatrical run, will premiere on the platform this weekend - on August 5.

The film revolves around a father and a son who have contrasting approaches to their work. While the father Satyanarayana Murthy is a judge committed to his profession, the son is a money-minded youngster who would go to any length for money. The former even gives up his position after coming up with an unfair verdict. When Murthy realises that his son is out to help a corrupt politician, he decides to turn a lawyer, confronting his own. Who will have the last laugh in this battle?

Rao Ramesh, Satyaraj, Aditi Gautham, Saptagiri, Srinivas Reddy and Anasuya Bharadwaj form the supporting cast of the film. Jakes Bejoy has scored the music for the comic-caper while Karm Chawla had cranked the camera. SB Uddhav had edited the film. Bunny Vass, Pramod Uppalapati, Vamsi Krishna Reddy are the producers. Pakka Commercial received largely unfavourable reviews and didn't perform well at the box office, as per expectations.

Pakka Commercial was Maruthi's second collaboration with Raashi Khanna after Prati Roju Pandage. The film marked the comeback of Neninthe actress Siya Gautham (Aditi Gautham). Maruthi's earlier film Manchi Rojulochaie, starring Santosh Shobhan and Mehreen Pirzada, also streamed on aha. He's touted to direct another light-hearted film headlined by Prabhas and Malavika Mohanan.
