With just one film, Palak Tiwari has grabbed all the necessary and unnecessary attention during the promotions. The actor, who is Shweta Tiwari's daughter, made her Bollywood debut with Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, which features Salman Khan in the titular role. Now, during an interaction with ETimes, Palak spoke at length about how her mother, who is also an actor, reacted to her decision to make it to the movies.

Palak told the entertainment portal that she understands why her mother was a stricter parent when she was younger. Shweta probably saw her as a very careless teenager. She probably didn't trust Palak because she was a pretty wild teenage girl. Palak has been able to gain her trust throughout the years. Shweta finally told her that she wasn't the best kid in the world, but neither was she the worst, and the young actor accepted that as a compromise. Palak believes that was also quite helpful.

Shweta warned her daughter, "Naak mat katana," when she first began her job as a performer, and she often gets the impression that her mom is always asking, "What are you doing?" Many parents worry that their children will never learn to solve problems on their own. However, in Palak's experience, her mother is anything but a control freak. Nobody in her family has any tendency toward being a control freak. That's what appeals to her the most. Shweta did so independently as well, and she is always supportive, even when she can't fathom her daughter's decisions. The Bijlee girl would describe her mother as her "damage control" specialist.

Her go-to line when anything goes wrong is, "Just relax." It is not the worst thing that could happen. People are going to be alright; worse things have happened.

Meanwhile, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is likely to stream on OTT soon after its theatrical run.
