Another Telugu indie film is all set to make its way to the regional OTT platform aha, coinciding with the Vinayaka Chaturthi weekend. While Highway, O Manchi Roju Choosi Cheptha and Odela Railway Station released on the platform in the last couple of weeks, the coming week will have aha streaming two films in the same week - Pellikuturu Party and Panchatantra Kathalu. The latter will release on aha on August 31.

Panchatantra Kathalu brings together five shorts bound by a common theme. While there's a story of an elderly woman facing neglect from her children, another tale focuses on a youngster who fails to gather the courage to win over his girl. Another woman in her 20s is looking for an opportunity to lead a regular life. A city-bred boy is eagerly waiting to meet his love while a middle-aged woman is caught at the crossroads of her life.

The film is written and directed by Ganganamoni Shekar. Upon its theatrical release on July 29 this year, Panchatantra Kathalu earned largely favourable reviews from the media, with the writing, characterisation and performances drawing praise.

Ganganamoni Shekar and Vijay Bhaskar Saddala are the joint cinematographers of the film. Syed Kamran, who had composed for Kobbari Matta and Hrudaya Kaleyam earlier, is the music director. Announcing the film’s OTT release, aha had released the trailer on their Youtube channel as well. Sharing the announcement, their social media post read, “Aabala gopalanni alarinche 5 kathala sammelanam. Panchatantra kathalu, aha lo. Vinayaka Chavithi rojuna. #PanchatantraKathaluOnAHA” Sai Ronak, one of the lead actors, was also seen in aha’s original Odela Railway Station, directed by Ashok Teja.
