Another anthology is set to greet Telugu audiences this summer. Panchathantram, featuring an interesting mix of experienced artistes and young talent including Brahmanandam, Samuthirakani, Swathi Reddy, Shivathmika Rajasekhar,Rahul Vijay and Naresh Agasthya, is written and directed by Harsha Pulipaka. Produced by Akhilesh Vardhan and Srujan Yarabolu under Ticket Factory and S Originals, the film has completed shoot. A new song from the film, Ye Ragamo, was launched by the makers at KLU University, Guntur recently.

Prashanth R Vihari is composing the music for Panchanthantram. Four singers have crooned for the Ye Ragamo number, namely Ravi G, Vihari, Lakshmi Meghana and Sri Kavya. Lyricised by Kittu Vissapragada, the song takes viewers through the romantic escapades between Rahul Vijay and Shivathmika in the film. One of the singers, Ravi G, has been in the news for rendering Naan Pizhai, a beautiful melody from Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal, composed by Anirudh Ravichander. In what's among his first songs in Telugu, Ravi G doesn't at all disappoint with Ye Ragamo either.

The pleasant song that grows over you instantly has a certain classical hangover and starts off with the lines.."Ye Ragamo..Nanne..Rammani Pilustunnade..Ye Vegamo..Gathanne Swagathinche Padamlo..Sagutunte Tamasha." The number has Rahul Vijay and Shivathmika bonding over a car drive and are gradually falling for one another. Raj K Nalli's surreal visuals perfectly complement the efforts of the composer, lyricist and the singers.

Talking about the song, the producers said, "We're quite happy with the response to the first glimpse and other promotional material pertaining to our film. We hope to receive a similar reaction for Ye Ragamo as well. Brahmanandam will be seen in a unique role in the film and the audience will get to see the superb performer in him. The film is currently in the post-production phase. We'll announce the release date shortly."
