Panchathantram: Swathi Reddy spreads her charm in new poster for Telugu anthology film

The makers of the upcoming Telugu anthology film, Panchathantram, have released a poster featuring Swathi Reddy. The poster was released to coincide with the actor’s birthday today. 

The poster, which was shared by the makers on social media, features Swathi with a big smile with a microphone next to her. The poster also comes with the film’s tagline which reads “The fairy tales of the modern world”. 

The poster, which is charming to say the least thanks to Swathi’s jubilant smile, is made to look like the cover of a superhero comic. The post shared by the makers has also called the actor a “superwoman”. 

Produced by Akhilesh Vardhan and Srujan Yarabolu under the banner of Ticket Factory and S Originals, the film is written and directed by debutant Harsha Pulipaka. The movie has an impressive cast that includes Brahmanandam, Samuthirakani, Shivathmika Rajashekar, Rahul Vijay and Naresh Agasthya.

Talking about the movie to Times of India, the director had said, “It’s the story of a 28-year-old getting into a new phase of life. He is very opinionated and particular about what he wants from a life partner. The story is based on relationships and family values in the current society.”

The makers had previously shared a teaser for the film back in October last year. Liger star Vijay Deverakonda had also shared a song from the movie titled Arere Arere earlier this month. 

The actor-singer-anchor, who has worked in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam, was last seen in the Malayalam movie Thrissur Pooram starring Jayasurya in the lead. Panchathantram also mark’s the actor’s return to Telugu cinema after the 2017 movie London Babulu.
