It's very rare that an anthology film is made in the mainstream space in Telugu cinema and that's a significant reason for a viewer to look forward to Panchathantram. The film brings together a fantastic star cast comprising Brahmanandam, Samuthirakani, Swathi Reddy, Shivathmika Rajashekar, Rahul Vijay and Naresh Agasthya. Written and directed by Harsha Pulipaka, Panchathantram is bankrolled by Akhilesh Vardhan and Srujan Yarabolu under Ticket Factory and S Originals.
A new single from the film, Arere Arere, was launched by Liger star Vijay Deverakonda across his social media handles yesterday. The song featuring Vikas and Divya Sripada showcases the initial friction, intimacy and the little joys of a newly married couple. Chinmayi Sripada and SP Charan have crooned for the song lyricised by Kittu Vissapragada. Prashanth R Vihari has composed the number.
The song starts with the lines, 'Arere Arere Maate Raade..Manase Palike Kshanamulo..Pilichi Adigi Aara Teesi..Chanuve Vethike Vayasuloo..' and beautifully depicts the journey of two youngsters experiencing marital bliss. It subtly shows how the wife and husband warm up to each other's presence in the relationship and enjoy their intimacy. The visuals aptly complement the spirit of the song which is a melodic treat for a music buff.
The producers Srujan Yarabolu and Akhilesh Vardhan feel that Arere Arere is a wedding song that will have a special place in a listener's heart and is coming at a time when such numbers are gradually disappearing from Telugu cinema. The makers are happy with the response to Ye Ragamo, the other single unveiled a few days ago. The anthology tale has wrapped its shoot and is currently finishing the post-production formalities. The release date will be announced shortly.
