Panjaram trailer: Yuva Teja's eerie thriller is a gripping tale of fear and mystery

While Telugu cinema continues to shine with new-age star hero films, low-budget, content-rich projects made by young directors are catching the imagination of one and all. One such film that has grabbed attention with its trailer is Panjaram.

Directed by Sai Krishna, the makers unveiled the film directly through its gripping theatrical trailer. Set in a small native village, Panjaram tells the story of Pedarasi Peddamma, one of the most feared personalities in the region. Speaking about the film, Sai Krishna stated that the basic theme and the way the twists are revealed are among the biggest highlights.

The trailer then shifts focus to two journalists investigating a series of mysterious deaths in the village. Yuva Teja makes his debut as the main lead, and it is through his character that the story unfolds. The eerie moments are executed well, and the buildup of suspense looks impressive.

Background score is the highlight of Panjaram trailer

For a young team, the background score elevates the trailer beautifully, and credit goes to Mohan for his tremendous work. Anil, Yuva Teja, Muskan, and Roopa play key roles in this film, which also features commendable camerawork. 

The re-recording has been done well, and though the story seems familiar, the way interest is created through the scenes makes it engaging. Though the actors are new, their screen presence in the intense horror scenes stands out in the trailer.
