Pankaj Tripathi is in Varanasi this Diwali. The actor is shooting for Mirzapur: The Film along with Ali Fazal. A leaked footage from the sets shows how the sets are recreated to keep the vibe check of Kaleen Bhaiyya. Watch it here...
Pankaj Tripathi stepped out and walked while a mob gathered around and were controlled by the bodyguards in Varanasi. The actor walked as the sets lit up to welcome his character Kaleen Bhaiyya in King Size. The crowd was under control but waiting to break free to have a chance to meet Pankaj Tripathi. While he greeted them, the actor also instantly got into character and left with three SUVs, all dedicated to Kaleen Bhaiyya (the name literally printed at the back of the automobiles).

The actor played the role of Bablu Bhaiyya in the first season of Mirzapur, but the character was killed. The same fate is expected in the movie.

While waiting for Mirzapur: The Film to be out in theatres, the wait for another Prime Video series could be getting shorter. The show can be accessed via Amazon Prime Lite (available with a top-up on your current OTTplay Premium subscription plan).
