Param Sundari: Sidharth Malhotra commences shoot; here's when Janhvi Kapoor is likely to join him

Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor have collaborated on a film for the first time. The Bollywood actors will be seen in Tushar Jalota's rom-com, which is titled Param Sundari. The latest development on this project is that its shoot has begun. Sidharth apparently commenced filming for Param Sundari in Nerul (Navi Mumbai) this week. However, Janhvi is likely to join him for the rom-com's shoot in January 2025.

Has Sidharth Malhotra commenced Param Sundari's shoot?

According to Mid-Day, the first schedule of Param Sundari will run for two weeks. Janhvi Kapoor will join Sidharth Malhotra for the shoot early in January 2025. Talking about the ongoing shoot, director Tushar Jalota is likely to shoot key scenes that will depict Sidharth's character's emotional journey.

"The Nerul shoot is crucial for setting up the protagonist’s backstory. Kharghar and Nerul will be the unit’s locations for the next few days, as Tushar cans emotional scenes featuring Sidharth. After Janhvi reports to the set in January, they will film the pair’s romantic sequences. Following the Mumbai stint, the director has lined up extensive schedules in Kerala and Delhi," a source told the tabloid.

The source added that Param Sundari is part of a larger on-screen universe that is being developed by Dinesh Vijan. However, it is outside the producer's existing horror-comedy universe.

Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor's work front

Meanwhile, on the work front, Sidharth Malhotra had two releases this year. The actor made his OTT debut with the web series Indian Police Force. He was later seen in the action-thriller Yodha. 

As for Janhvi Kapoor, she had four movie releases this year. The actress was seen in Mr. & Mrs. Mahi with Rajkummar Rao. Janhvi also starred in Devara: Part 1 and Ulajh. She had a special appearance in Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon's film, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya.
