Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor are all set to be seen in the upcoming romantic movie, Param Sundari. Fans are excited to experience the on-screen chemistry of the fresh pair. Amid this, a teaser was unveiled during the screening of Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi's Bhool Chuk Maaf in theaters, and it has been garnering a lot of attention and love. In the teaser, the setting, the environment, and more almost reminded of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's Chennai Express.
The teaser of Param Sundari opens with a glimpse of the toned body of Sidharth Malhotra, who will play Param's role, who is seemingly a businessman. On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor will play Sundari, a South Indian woman. The teaser shows the couple exploring their love, but Param is getting threats seemingly from the girl's family. This almost mirrors Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's Chennai Express when SRK was captured and held captive by the family members of Deepika's Meenamma. However, the Param Sundari teaser is looking promising, and it indeed makes you want more.

Dinesh Vijan earlier compared the movie to Mani Ratnam films. In an interview with Variety, he said that the conflict between Sidharth's North Indian boy meeting Janhvi's South Indian girl is 'very cool.'
"It's like maybe taking Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (Shahid Kapoor-Kriti Sanon's film) forward - there's a high-tech idea in there. But we are going into the Kantara world of sorts - we are going a little more than that," Vijan said.
Meanwhile, Param Sundari will hit theaters on July 25.
