Parambrata Chatterjee to direct Chiranjeet Chakraborty

Tollywood will get its new actor-director duo. It is being heard that Chiranjeet Chakraborty will be seen in a new series directed by Parambrata Chatterjee. 

The web series will start its shooting in May. Parambrata has been directing films for a long time, but he was not seen directing a web series after his tryst with Feluda on Addatimes. This time he is going out of his comfort zone. The series will come as a franchise. This will be a horror series. Chiranjeet Chakraborty will play the protagonist. But he does not want to comment on his character or the story. He said that the script is beautiful and intriguing. Did he accept the offer due to that reason? He is not much seen in films nowadays. What was the reason behind such a choosy actor agreeing to do the series? Chiranjeet said, “I could not refuse Param, and hence am coming back to the shooting floor.” Parambrata and Chiranjeet worked together in Srijit Mukherji’s Chotushkone in 2014 with Aparna Sen, Goutam Ghose, and others. 

The shooting will be held in the mountains, according to the Tollywood sources. Many people think that this will be one of Chiranjeet 's acclaimed works. Hence they are eagerly waiting to see him. 

However, neither the director nor the producer commented anything on this project. However, it has been known that other eminent artists will appear along with Chiranjeet. Gourab Chakrabarty, Arna Mukhopadhyay, Surangana Bandyopadhyay, Anindita Basu, and others will appear in the series. 

The series Jubilee, starring Prasenjit, was released a few days back, and Prasenjit's work was much acclaimed. Hence everyone is interested to see Chiranjeet now.
