Parampara Season 2 trailer: Naveen Chandra fights for his father’s dignity; Jagapathi Babu, Sarathkumar at their intense best

Parampara, the popular family drama that streamed on Disney+ Hotstar, is returning for a second season. Starring Ishaan, Naveen Chandra, Jagapathi Babu and Sarathkumar in key roles, the show, directed by L Krishna Vijay and Arigela Vishwanath, revolved around two warring generations of an influential political family based in Vizag.

The trailer of the second season, bringing together the same team, was launched by Ram Charan today. Here, Naveen Chandra playing the on-screen son of Jagapathi Babu is keen on restoring his father’s dignity and is committed to fight for his due in the public, even if it means a clash with his uncle (Sarathkumar). His love life with his ‘maradalu’ (Aakanksha Singh) too gets affected in the process.

Naveen Chandra’s clash isn’t limited to his uncle but also his brother (Ishaan) and the show promises an abundant dose of drama, action and politics. Kasthuri, Aamani, Naina Ganguly and others too play important roles. Parampara is backed by Arka Media Works, the makers of Baahubali and aha’s Anya’s Tutorial recently. The first season of the show also featured veteran Murali Mohan in a special appearance.

Parampara Season 2 premieres on Disney+ Hotstar on July 21. Other releases on the platform recently was the period thriller 9 Hours, headlined by Taraka Ratna, Madhu Shalini, Ajay and Vinod Kumar. Some of their feature film releases in 2022 include Hero, Bheemla Nayak, Vikram, Kanmani Rambo Khatija, Akhanda, Khiladi and Bhala Thandanana, to name a few.
