The film will begin to stream on Manorama Max soon. However, an exact date of release has not been revealed. It is expected to premiere online by the end of May. Bhavana's Hunt will be available on the same platform on May 23.
The story revolves around a young couple named Sandhya and Jiju Janardhanan. While Sandhya is from a wealthy and traditional family, Jiju belongs to a middle-class family. Her family strongly opposes their connection, especially her uncle Satheesh, who confronts Jiju in a violent and adverse manner. Jiju and Sandhya decide to elope during a family ceremony. However, their attempt to flee is foiled. How this incident gives raise to unexpected secrets of the family forms the crux of the film. Issues of social pressures and the intricacies of familial bonds are widely explored in Parannu Parannu Parannu Chellan, which was released in theatres in January.
Unni Lalu, Lukman Avaran, Samriddhi Tara, Sajin Cherukayil, Vijayaraghavan, Ratheesh Kumar Rajan, Kalabhavan Joshi, Sreeja Das, Srinath Babu, and Sudhi Koppa are playing prominent roles in the film. J M Infotainment has produced this movie. Joy Jinith and Raamnaath have composed music for Parannu Parannu Parannu Chellan. Unni Lalu playing a major role in the recent Malayalam thrillers, Rekhachithram and Officer on Duty. Sidharth appeared in a prominent character in Sookshadarshini.
Latest Malayalam OTT releases in May
The latest Malayalam films to make its digital debut includes Arjun Ashokan-starrer Bromance. The comedy drama, which also stars Mahima Nambiar, Sangeeth Prathap and Mathew Thomas is streaming on Sony LIV. Other movies, such as Pravinkoodu Shappu and Rekhachithram are also accessible on the same online platform. Basil Joseph's recent flick, Maranamass, will begin streaming on Sony LIV from May 15.
