Paresh Rawal's confirmation of his departure from the film Hera Pheri 3 is a huge disappointment for the highly anticipated film. This project brings together director Priyadarshan, actors Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty, and Rawal, whose performance as Baburao Ganpatrao Apte is crucial to the franchise's continued success; however, he has stated that he is not in the mood to be involved at the moment.
Rawal explained to Mid Day that he understands many people were surprised by his decision. Under Priyadarshan's direction, the three work well together, but Rawal decided not to be a part of it today, so he opted out.
Fans are upset with the turn of events, particularly because Babu Bhaiyaa, played by Rawal, has been instrumental in keeping the comedic tension between Raju (Kumar) and Ghanshyam (Shetty) in check. For now, Rawal is adamant about his decision, but he hasn't totally dismissed the possibility of coming back.
The veteran actor declared that at this point, it is final. In his opinion, one should never say never, but he believes the future is completely unpredictable.
People have speculated that Rawal's choice was due to salary concerns or creative differences, but he has denied both.
As a filmmaker, Priyadarshan has his utmost regard and trust, and he adores him. Their previous and future film collaborations have been and will be fantastic. Rawal made it clear that they had no creative disagreements and would never have.
The actor further asserted, "No amount of money compares to the love and respect of my audience," thereby ignoring any financial concerns around his leaving. At this very moment, all he can say is that he simply does not want to play that part.
According to Rawal, Priyadarshan tried to convince him to stay, but once he decided, there was no turning back. He also added that everyone knows that he is a stickler for following through on his decisions; that's why they stop there.
From "Hera Pheri" and other comedies with Priyadarshan to Hungama, Yeh Teraa Ghar Yeh Meraa Ghar, Chup Chup Ke, De Dana Dan, Malamaal Weekly, Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal, and more, the actor is now looking forward to his next endeavour. He recently completed filming Bhooth Bangla and is now preparing to begin filming Sugar Free, a comedy, in October.
