Pareshan OTT release date is here. Read to know when the Rana Daggubati production will be out
Pareshan is one film that caught the attention with its trailers. The film was produced by Rana Daggubati, who is known to back low-budget and interesting films in Telugu. The rural Telangana comedy was released on June 2, 2023, and won decent appreciation from the critics. Rupak Ronaldson directed this film on a low budget.
Pareshan was also released alonside one more small film, Mem Famous. Both films were released in competition with each other as they had the same rural Telangana backdrop. As the film was backed by a big name like Rana Daggubati, the village drama had decent occupancy in the Nizam area on its first day. But things changed later as the occupancy fell down completely thereby affecting the overall collections.
The distributors lost money but the makers who grabbed good OTT deals ended in profits. As per the latest update, Sony Liv has bagged the OTT rights of the film for a fancy price and they are all set to stream the film from August 2, 2023 onwards. There is a decent buzz for the film's OTT release as many did not watch the film on the big screen.
Vasu Pendem cranked the camera for the film while Sripal Macharla is the art director and the costume designer. Akkala Chandramouli is the sole lyricist. Hari Shankar TN and Rupak Ronaldson have edited the film while it’ll be distributed by Spirit Media.
Speaking about the film, actor Tiruveer says that the film is a hilarious comedy rooted deeply in traditions and culture. When asked why Rana backed the film, Tiruveer says that Rana was laughing non-stop during the screening and loved the film and hence decided to back it.
