Thiruveer, who shot to fame with his appearances in a handful of web shows and films like Metro Kathalu, Palasa 1978, Sin and the recent hit Masooda, the horror thriller, is back in a new film. His next release is Pareshan, a madcap comedy set against the Telangana backdrop, directed by Kobbari Matta maker Rupak Ronaldson. Baahubali star Rana Daggubati is turning a presenter for the outing.

The film is bankrolled by Siddharth Rallapalli under Waltair Productions. The teaser, launched a couple of months ago, created enough noise among movie buffs. Finally, the makers of Pareshan announced the film’s theatrical release date this week. The hilarious entertainer will release in theatres on June 2, locking horns with another quirky small-budget fare Mem Famous by Sumanth Prabhas.

The story unfolds in a small village in Telangana. Pavani Karanam, Bunny Abiran, Sai Prasanna, Arjun Krishna, Shruthi Riyan, Buddarakhan Ravi, Raju Bedigela play other key roles in the film. While Vasu Pendem cranked the camera for the same, Yashwanth Nag is the music director. Hari Shankar TN and Rupak Ronaldson edited the film which has Sripal as its art director. Chandramouli Akkala has penned the lyrics for the album.

Muralidhar Goud, Padma, Vasantha, Surabhi Raghava, Sivaram and Sai Kiran Yadav form the supporting cast of Pareshan. Good promotions are the key for audiences to appreciate small-budget films. Balagam and Writer Padmabhushan are the best examples to suggest that good promotions backed by strong word of mouth can work wonders at the box office.

Rana Daggubati had also taken special care to promote another indie-film in the past, Care of Kancharapalem, directed by Venkatesh Maha and it helped the film’s cause. Thiruveer’s growing popularity after Masooda will be another major advantage for Pareshan. After a packed summer season, get ready for a laughter ride this June.
