Vikram Chatterjee is a known dog lover. The heartthrob of television is currently busy with films and OTT. He will appear as the hero of Tathagata Mukherjee’s film Pariah. The film will talk about street dogs’ suffering and will send out a message against the violence that happens to them. The shooting has been going on since April. Recently, the long fight schedule for eight days ended. Now the director said that Vikram's toes were fractured.

Two toes of his left foot suffered fracture and it is now wrapped up in a bandage. It happened while Vikram was having a rehearsal of the action scenes. However, for the actor, the show must go on! The producer will face a huge financial crisis and other actors will have problems providing dates if the schedule is cancelled. Hence Vikram did the shooting with his fracture.

Tathagata posted photos of Vikram's fractured toe and glimpses of the shooting. He wrote, “At last Pariah's eight-day long fight schedule, involving Vikram's fractured toes, many people's broken nose, forehead, the DOP's hand, and the producer's broken heart, is finally finished. Let the fights off-screen go on.”

How serious was the fracture? Vikram said,

“It happened during the rehearsal, three days before the shooting took place. It was a bit difficult, but I worked after having medicine.”

Vikram will be seen in a never-before-seen avatar in Pariah. Vikram built his body for the last six months for the picture. He got trained in mixed martial arts. His toned body in the poster amazed everyone. He acts as the savior of the street dogs, and he has no name in the film. Ambarish Bhattacharya and Sreelekha Mitra will also be in the film.

Vikram's last released film was Shesh Pata, along with Prosenjit and Gargee RoyChowdhury. His work was praised. The film, directed by Atanu Ghosh, was not a box-office success but was critically acclaimed.
