On September 24, popular Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra – who has over 43 million Instagram followers – married the love of her life, politico Raghav Chadha. Their grand wedding took place at a reputable palace in Udaipur city and grabbed the majority of the entertainment news headlines in the month of September. While they continue to be in the news, the 34-year-old actress today shared glimpses of their haldi ceremony.

For the unfamiliar, the haldi ceremony usually takes place a day before the wedding day as per the Hindu ceremonial rituals. During this ceremony, the to-be bride and groom wear light-coloured clothes and their families apply haldi on them and pray for their prosperous future.
In the pictures shared by Parineeti Chopra on her Instagram Stories, Parineeti can be seen wearing a plain red traditional attire, while Raghav was wearing an absolute white kurta pyjama. The faces of the couple were smeared with haldi (or a turmeric paste).

What happened on the day of the wedding?
Parineeti Chopra presented her husband, Raghav Chadha, with a unique wedding gift—a special song titled 'O Piya,' which she sang and recorded for him. Sharing the video on Instagram, Parineeti expressed her feelings, saying, "To my husband...The most significant song I've ever sung...walking towards you, hiding from the baraat, singing these words... what do I even say .. O piya, chal chalein aa. So grateful for everyone who helped make this song come alive."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Parineeti Chopra is nowadays seen in the theatrical Mission Raniganj. This movie features her alongside actor Akshay Kumar in a pivotal role. While the movie struggles to mint money at the box office, it has received huge praises from critics globally.
