Bollywood actress Parineeti Chopra has left everyone wondering if she is expecting her first child with husband-politician Raghav Chadha. Recently, the actress was seen attending the trailer launch event of her upcoming film Amar Singh Chamkila where she was seen wearing an oversized flowy black dress. However, Parineeti's appearance left fans curious to know if the actress is expecting her first child anytime soon.
Why did rumors about Parineet Chopra's pregnancy start?
Soon after pictures and videos from the event were shared online, several users reacted to it and asked if Parineeti was trying to hide her pregnancy behind her loose-fitted dress. One of the fans wrote: "Yeah,she is constantly touching her tummy,..also her face shows edema ,it's not fat it has edema,which is very different from a chubby face," "Good news is on the way," wrote another. A lot of people also commented that the actress should now announce her pregnancy.
However, neither Pari nor her team has officially announced anything yet.
The pregnancy rumors of the actress come months after she tied the knot with Politician Raghav Chadha. The two got married in a beautiful ceremony on September 24, 2023. After kicking off the pre-wedding festivities in Delhi, their wedding started after a Sufi night and then the Ardaas ceremony. The grand wedding took place in Udaipur where the duo took their wedding vows in front of their families and friends.
The couple shared their wedding pictures as they issued a joint statement to express gratitude towards all. The couple wrote: "Raghav and I wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. We are bursting with gratitude for the outpour of love and warm wishes. While we may not have had the chance to respond to each and every message personally (life’s been a whirlwind, as you can imagine), please know that we have been reading EVERYTHING with joy in our hearts."
Meanwhile, on the work front, Parineeti will be seen in Amar Singh Chamkila, also starring Diljit Dosanjh. The film, which is directed by Imtiaz Ali is set to release on April 12, 2024, on Netflix.
