And the wedding festivities begin! Popular celebrity couple Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha are all set to commence the rituals on the auspicious occasion on September 17 (tomorrow). The lovebirds, who have been making headlines with their adorable relationship, will get married on September 24.
Sources close to the development told HT City, “Celebrations for actor Parineeti Chopra and politico Raghav Chadha’s wedding begin on September 17 with an ‘ardaas’ (prayer ceremony) and a ‘shabd kirtan’ (way of offering prayers) happening in Delhi.”
Clearly, Parineeti and Raghav Chadha will be in the spotlight tomorrow. Both individuals are expected to wear traditional clothes for the holy prayer ceremony. However, the outfit details are not known yet.
Where will the wedding take place?
The most-awaited wedding of the year will take place at The Leela Palace in Rajasthan’s Udaipur. Multiple reports suggest that high-profile guests and celebrities from India and abroad will mark their attendance on the occasion including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, Hollywood stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas among others.
The guest will begin arriving at the grandeur wedding location on September 23 and will likely be welcomed with lunch followed by a 90s-themed party.
Interestingly, Raghav’s entire wardrobe will be made by Raghav’s uncle Pawan Sachdeva. The couple will likely wear colour-coordinated outfits.
