Parineeti Chopra wraps Imtiaz Ali's Chamkila; Diljit Dosanjh calls her 'unbelievable'

Parineeti Chopra just finished filming the much-anticipated Imtiaz Ali movie Chamkila, in which the lead role is played by the famous Punjabi singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh. The actors, who will play the best vocalists from Punjab in the film, are working together for the first time. The movie was mostly shot in Punjab, and Parineeti plays the role of Amarjot Kaur. Diljit is set to play Chamkila.

Diljit praised his co-star, Parineeti Chopra, on social media. He wrote, "@parineetichopra Film ch Kamaal Kam Kita Parineeti ji ne. Unbelievable." (Parineeti did a fantastic job in the movie.)

Parineeti also talked about her experience on social media and thanked everyone in the movie's cast and crew. She wrote in her note that the heavenly crew and her experience have changed her life in a way that can't be undone. She will not forget the peace, joy, meditation, and Punjab.

On March 8, 1988, Chamkila, his wife Amarjot, and two other band members were killed in a murder case that has never been solved. In Mehsampur, Punjab, where they were scheduled to play at two o'clock, Chamkila and Amarjot were shot dead as they got out of their car on March 8, 1988. A group of motorcycle riders opened fire with many bullets, killing the couple and several other people in their group. But no one was ever arrested for the incident, and the case was never resolved.

Many conspiracies have been proposed as to why Chamkila was slain. He reportedly received several threats to his life, according to numerous reports. These threats' characteristics or motivations are still a mystery. The high-profile murder prompted a storm of debate and rumours.
