Parking stars Harish Kalyan, M. S. Bhaskar and Indhuja Ravichandran in the lead roles. Based on the trailer, the narrative of the film looks pretty straightfoward.

The film follows revolves around Harish Kalyan's Eshwar, an ordinary guy, who begins to climb the ladder of middle class after landing a well-paying job as a techie. He seems to be living a great Indian middle-class dream with his wife in a rented house in Chennai. Eshwar's life takes a positive turn when he purchases a new hatchback. However, his joy is short-lived as he faces challenges in finding a safe parking spot to protect his new car's integrity.

The seemingly mundane struggle escalates dramatically when Eshwar clashes with his elderly neighbor, Ilamparuthi (M. S. Bhaskar), over parking the car in front of the house. Heated arguments lead to a physical confrontation, entangling the two neighbors in a bitter ego clash.

According to reports, the performance of Parking at the box office suffered due to the flooding situation in Chennai. The film was not able to fully cash in on good reviews and strong word of mouth as people in the city were trapped inside their inaundated streets.
