Parno Mittra started her journey on television and shot to fame after working in Anjan Dutt’s Ranjana Ami Ar Ashbo Na. Since then, the actress offered several hits, including Maach, Mishti & More, Rajkahini, Ahare Mon, and many others. As her latest work, Bonobibi, awaits a release, she has taken a step back and focused on her family life.

Parno came to Didi No. 1 and shared her life with the audience. It seemed to be a little hard patch that the actress is going through. She elaborated on the problems of her life, revealing the amount of responsibility on her shoulder. She lost her father years ago and now her mother is fighting blindness. The actress said, “I have huge responsibilities. My mother fell down two months before the passing away of my dad. She is almost immobile since then. I bought a new house. From the day of the housewarming, my mother lost her eyesight. The doctors said that it is a nerve-related complication that will never be cured. I have huge pressure. I, with my cousin, are handling all these.”

The film Bonobibi starring Parno is to be released. The shooting of Sunetra Sundaram is finished. In 2019, Parno officially joined the BJP by going to Delhi. But she was not much seen in politics. At that time, questions were raised about her friendship with Mimi Chakraborty, the actor-turned-MP. Politics was never a hurdle in their relationship, and they made trips together.
