Parthiban shares a goofy picture with Robo Shankar after mic throwing incident

Actor R Parthiban, who made headlines for the wrong reasons after he threw a mic at actor-comedian Robo Shankar at the audio and trailer launch of his upcoming film, Iravin Nizhal, shared a goofy picture with the comedian. He wrote on his social media page, "Mike testing 1..2..3…@iamrobosankar #iravinnizhal #singleshotfilm #arrahman #singlerelease #maayavachayava #maayavathooyava #iravinnizhallyricalvideo #iravinnizhalfirstsingle #iravinnizhalteaser (sic)."

In the picture, Parthiban is seen giving a peck on Robo Shankar's cheek and the latter is seen flashing a huge smile. Parthiban captioned the picture as - The man who invented mic- Emile Berliner ; The man who missed catching the mike- Robo Shankar; The man who got caught because of the mike- Parthiban; He finally gave a peck on his cheek."

The first single and teaser from Parthiban's Iravin Nizhal was launched on Sunday in the presence of the film's music composer AR Rahman and many other members of the film fraternity. During the event, the film's director and lead actor Parthiban had an interaction session with the ace composer.

In the middle of the interaction, Parthiban realised that his microphone was not working. When comedian Robo Shankar, who was below the stage in the front row, asked him to hand over the defunct microphone to him, Parthiban lost his cool and flung the mike at him. He also said, "You should have asked this before." Rahman, who was visibly shocked, was rendered speechless. The incident became the talking point of the town.

Later, Parthiban apologised for his behaviour and said that he was under tremedous pressure after many sleepless nights as he was gearing up for the event and the release of the film. He added that he regretted the incident. Now that the actor has shared a picture with Robo Shankar, it looks like all is well between the two actors. Robo Shankar is also part of the star cast of the film and is said to be playing a crucial role in Iravin Nizhal.
