Party on with Pushpavati! Third single from Kranti clocks 3.5 million views within hours!

Looks like the latest single from Kranti, Pushpavati, will become the party anthem of the season as the song continues to trend on the internet. Within the first 20 hours of its launch, the new track has garnered close to 4 million views on YouTube with netizens showering love over the retro vibe of the song, the chemistry between Nimika Ratnakar and Darshan, and also the choreography. 

Another highlight of the song is Yogaraj Bhat's lyrics which are penned in the quirky North Karnataka dialect. V. Harikrishna, who has written and directed Kranti and also composed all the songs, has sung the song along with Aishwarya Rangarajan.

As much as the success of Pushpavati could be attributed to Darshan's massive fandom, the fact that Kranti has been making the headlines for myriad reasons over the last couple of weeks could also be seen as a contributing factor. The Hosapete incident, wherein Darshan was attacked by an alleged Puneeth Rajkumar fan in the crowd, is still fresh in the public memory and with the Challenging Star refraining from speaking about it directly, many hoped that he would address that during the launch of Pushpavati in Hubballi, on December 25. While Darshan refused to take names or refer to the incident in a direct manner, he did dish out a few juicy one-liners about the 'slipper' incident to draw thunderous applause from his fans.

Kranti has four songs in total, revealed Darshan in the recent media interaction, adding that details of the launch of the fourth single will be made public at the earliest. The trailer, however, will be launched in Bengaluru amid tremendous fanfare, he shared. The previous two singles, namely Dharani Mandala (theme song) and Bombe Bombe, have become quite popular on the internet.
