‘Pasoori’ recreated for Satyaprem Ki Katha; song featuring Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan to drop tomorrow

The buzz around Satyaprem Ki Katha got bigger and better! Starring popular actors Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan in lead roles, this romantic drama is all set to entertain audiencies at the theatres on June 29. On Monday, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) granted a U/A certificate to the film, meaning that the film can be viewed by all adults and children under supervision by adults.

And now, to add fuel to the buzz, Kartik Aaryan just now announced that the new song of the film, titled ‘Pasoori’ will be dropped tomorrow at 11:11 AM.

“Relive the global hit! पसूरी नु... Sattu - Katha’s pure love gets the magical touch of Arijit Singh’s voice #PasooriNu Out Tomorrow at 11:11 AM #SajidNadiadwala #SatyaPremKiKatha #29thJune,” wrote Aaryan on Twitter.

This song is the remake of the iconic song ‘Pasoori’ sung by talented musicians such as Ali Sethi and Shae Gill. The original song has over 596 million views on YouTube and was released on February 7, 2022.

The latest version of the song will feature Kiara Advani and Kartik Aaryan in titular roles. Both the stars appeared super comfortable together on screen and donned their cool and classy white coloured attires.

Reacting to this announcement, a Twitter user said, “Okay so Arijit is singing this song. Great. Excited to listen how this version will be.” Another Twitter user excitedly said, “Ufff!!! Dammn.. just can't wait for this!!”

This upcoming romantic drama is directed by Sameer Vidwans and jointly produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and Namah Pictures. The film was announced in June 2021.
