Following a tremendous guesstimate of $4.5 million on the first day, Pathaan resumed its record-breaking overseas march, with collections expected to range between $3.50 and $3.75 million on day two. Accordingly, the movie's two-day statistics will likely be in the neighbourhood of $8 million, depending on how the final receipts shake out.
After the first day, there were declines in most marketplaces, which was to be expected; nevertheless, on Friday, as the weekend begins, activity will increase once more. Importantly, there doesn't seem to be a decline in the Gulf, a market that has kept international sales down since the pandemic, but Pathaan will reverse that, as even the Gulf is on track for record numbers.
As a result, Pathaan (Hindi) will have a second-day worldwide gross of approximately Rs. 112 crore, which will be added to the first day's Rs. 103 crore and bring the total to an insane Rs. 215 crore in just two days. You can also add another Rs. 5–6 crore for the regional versions to bring the total to over Rs. 220 crore.
If Gulf maintains or improves this level, the Friday and Saturday figures will be enormous worldwide because Friday and Saturday will be extremely busy in markets like the US, Canada, and the UK. This is what happens when Shah Rukh Khan makes a terrific movie after the international market has been waiting for one for years.
With an astounding $4.5 million, Pathaan had the largest opening day for a Hindi film outside of India. Pathaan becomes the first Hindi film to earn more than 100 crore at the box office in a single day! By grossing 106 crores ($12.77 million) on its opening day, Pathaan shattered all previous records for Hindi film opening days.
Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham play the key characters in Siddharth Anand's Pathaan. Yash Raj Films, owned by Aditya Chopra, produced the movie.
