Pathaan, which broke its own outrageous box office records on Thursday (Republic Day), is on a tear at the box office this weekend. At B- and C-centers, whether they are single screens or multiplexes, it is absolute devastation. As per Box Office India, the metro areas and some of the other larger cities are probably going to slow down during the evening and nighttime performances, so they won't collect as much money as they did on Thursday, but they are still doing far better than they did on Day One and Saturday.

The movie's earnings could reach the Rs. 65 crore nett milestone, but much will depend on how the nightly shows do. The weekend in Hindi is expected to bring in roughly Rs. 275 crore nett, with an additional Rs. 8–9 crore nett from regional releases. The unthinkable has happened because the initial content aim of Rs. 275 crore nett over its lifetime has been unachievable since War in 2019, and even War, you might say, is pretty much done as it's only a few crore less. War was unintentionally a part of the same director and studio crew.

The movie is a tour of violence from north to south and from east to west, and the circuit collections will make you go crazy. Some places weren't as big as others on Wednesday, but by Sunday, everyone was on par, and the decision was unanimous. On the first day, there were some troublemakers—protesters who were there for no legitimate reason—which did not help the situation, but the film's box office success and the throngs of people who flocked to the theatres to see it more than cleared that hold.

Now, the focus is on breaking the record for the highest-grossing Hindi film in India. If everything goes according to plan, the title of "highest grosser" will be given back to an original Hindi film, where it belongs, after almost six years. Although there is still work to be done in India, this title is assured everywhere. Hopefully, it will get there in the next few days.
