Pathaan once again lit up the box office on Friday with a massive haul of Rs. 37.50 crore nett, a 45% decrease from the day before, which was a national holiday. There isn't much to say because the movie surpasses all expectations, as does every compilation.
As per Box Office India, it goes without saying that the film's incredible Rs. 160–161 crore nett three-day business in Hindi is an all-time record as it surpasses the greatest original Hindi films, Sanju, which earned 119 crore nett, and KGF 2 and Bahubali: The Conclusion.
The trading website also said that a drop like this after a holiday is strange since even a drop of 55% would have been good. Excellent Friday box office results for the movie have set up fantastic Saturday and Sunday earnings. These kinds of numbers have essentially never been seen before, and only God knows where they will be on Sunday. The UP and Bihar areas, which are occasionally less favourable to SRK flicks, are going crazy. The fact that the movie did well in many parts of UP and Bihar shows that it is similar to the traditional North Indian movies of the past, which need to come back. Together with Uttar Pradesh's widespread appeal and the fact that Delhi-NCR is consistently strong for SRK, the Delhi-UP circuit is just nuts.
That pretty much covers up the mind-boggling numbers of the film, and there will be more in the future. We have only recently seen a year or two when we have to try and find collections, and here it is about sorting out collections.

Wednesday: Rs. 55 crore approx
Thursday: Rs. 68 crore approx
Friday: Rs. 37.50 crore approx
TOTAL: Rs. 160.50 crore approx
Pathaan is directed by Siddharth Anand and made by Aditya Chopra's company, Yash Raj Films, which is his home studio. The action-thriller is part of YRF's Spy Universe. Pathaan stars Shah Rukh Khan in the titular role alongside Deepika Padukone and John Abraham.
