Pathaan: Here's John Abraham back as the menacing villain, Shah Rukh Khan calls him 'tough and plays it rough'

The first look of John Abraham as the antagonist in Pathaan was released by Yash Raj Films exactly five months before the movie's scheduled release date. Siddharth Anand, the film's director, has made every reveal a surprise, making headlines first with Shah Rukh Khan's appearance, then with a peek of Deepika Padukone, and now with the reveal of John in a super-slick look.

The enthusiasm and anticipation surrounding Pathaan are at an all-time high, and YRF and Siddharth are strategically striving to maintain that momentum by gradually releasing these essential components.

According to Siddharth, every Pathaan announcement is like unveiling a piece of an enormous puzzle in front of the curious fans and spectators, building up to our release day. Because they, fortunately, have the content to generate that buzz, they want every Pathaan asset to be a major talking point.

Sid adds, about his choice to cast him in that role, that John is the antagonist of Pathaan. Additionally, he always thought that the villain's projection should be at least as large as the hero's. The fight between them can only be exciting when the villain is large. Sid is assured that when SRK faces John, the combat is spectacular. They wanted to give John a really sleek avatar to showcase.

The director claims that the initial impressions are luring viewers into the realm of Pathaan. The first impressions of SRK, Deepika Padukone, and now John, according to him, really embody the zone they want the audience to experience the film in. On January 25, 2023, Pathaan will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
