Pathaan release date announcement: Shah Rukh Khan is FINALLY back but the wait is slightly longer!

Shah Rukh Khan finally announced the release date of his long-awaited film Pathaan. The highly anticipated movie also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in major roles. The Siddharth Anand directorial is set to release on January 25, 2023.

The pan-Indian film will be out in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages. The actor made the latest announcement with a teaser video, where all three actors can be seen introducing the titular character of the movie. The latest montage begins with John saying, "In our country, we name our people by their caste or religion but he didn't have any of these." Deepika appears next in the video and says, "He didn't even have someone to name him. He only had this country- India." Then enters King Khan and says, "That's why he accepted his country as his religion and saving the country is one and only deed." He further tells the audience to wait to know how 'he' got his name. "Let's meet Pathaan soon!" he adds at the end.

Pathaan has definitely become the most awaited film to hit the box office post-pandemic. Meanwhile, the specially shot date announcement video has no film footage whatsoever!

Shah Rukh took the video to his official IG handle and shared it with his fans. The caption reads, "I know it’s late… But remember the date… Pathaan time starts now… See you in cinemas on 25th January, 2023. Releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Celebrate #Pathaan with #YRF50 only at a big screen near you. (sic)."

John shared the latest announcement video on his Instagram handle and mentioned the date of release of the film.
