'Pathaan' Shah Rukh Khan ranks as the 4th richest actor in the world, beating Tom Cruise

Shah Rukh Khan is now continuously making headlines since the trailer of his upcoming film Pathaan is out, but we now have more exciting news for his fans. Despite not appearing in any movies for the past few years, the actor apparently surpasses Tom Cruise and has risen to the position of fourth-richest actor in the world. Not to mention that SRK, the only actor from India to appear on the list, would shortly surpass Dwayne Johnson in terms of income due to the very small gap. 

King Khan, who apparently earns about $24 million per year, has surpassed stars like Top Gun: Maverick actor Tom Cruise and Jackie Chan, according to the 2023-updated world statistics. According to the ranking, Shah Rukh Khan is worth 770 million dollars, while Tom Cruise and Jackie Chan are worth about 620 million and 520 million dollars, respectively.

Also, the fact that he is only $30 million behind Dwayne Johnson may not seem like much to some, but for King Khan, who is making a comeback after four years, this won't seem like a significant gap to overcome.

The screenshot of the list was also published on a Reddit board called Bolly Blinds N Gossip, and in response, a member wrote: “To everyone wondering why, it’s because of his investment in KKR and the monstrous rise in the valuation of the IPL and it’s teams.”

SRK is awaiting his big release ‘Pathaan’, his first film in four years. Apart from films and KKR, King Khan also earns from endorsement deals for dozens of brands. The 57-year-old actor endorses 14 brands, including Hyundai, ICICI, Byju's, BigBasket, Tag Heuer, and Lux. Apart from that, Red Chillies Entertainment, his production company, has been very successful with blockbusters like Badla and the Netflix original Bard of Blood.
