The first single, Pathala Pathala, from Kamal Haasan's upcoming film, Vikram, was released last evening. The song in the Madras dialect has reminded many of Kamal Haasan from the '90s. And now, the song has crossed a whopping 10 million views.
The film's production house, took to its social media page, to announce the news. Taking to his social media page, Kamal Haasan had shared the lyric video of the much-awaited song. The song, penned and sung by Kamal Haasan himself, is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Anirudh revealed the same on his social media page. "Ulaganayagan @ikamalhaasan sir writes and sings #PathalaPathala 🥳🥳🥳 What a session! Thank you sir 😃😃😃 #Vikram first single from May 11th day after 🥁🥁🥁 @Dir_Lokesh ❤️❤️❤️ @RKFI (sic)."
Kamal Haasan, too, was all praise for the composer and stated that he was living up to the family's standards of excellence. He wrote, "All the while I was thinking about what a great lineage you belong to. From your great grandfather to YOU, what abundant talents and achievements in one family. You are truly living up to your family standards of excellence. More power to you my young friend. (sic)."
Meanwhile, the Vikram team is gearing up for the grand audio launch to be held on May 15 at the Jawaharlal Nehru indoor stadium in Chennai. The trailer of the film will also be launched on the occasion. The film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, features Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Narain, Shanavi Srivatsava, Kalidas Jayaram, Shivani Narayanan, Hareesh Peradi, and Gayathrie Shankar, in pivotal roles. The film is all set to hit screens on June 3 and the digital rights have been snapped by Disney + Hostar.
