Fans are eagerly waiting for the release of the Raveena Tandon- starrer legal drama, titled Patna Shuklla. In the film, Raveena portrays the character of a lawyer, who attempts to unravel a massive educational fraud. The struggle she encounters in the process becomes the storyline of the film. Directed by Vivek Budakoti, the legal drama film is set to make its world premiere on March 29 on Disney+ Hotstar.

Plot

The plot of the film revolves around Tanvi, a housewife and a lawyer, who is approached by a college girl to get her marksheet checked after it was declared she had failed the exam. In the process, Tanvi aims to unravel a bigger educational fraud that lets undeserving students pass the exams, in exchange for a bribe.

Trailer

The trailer of the film features Tanvi (played by Raveena Tandon) a devoted wife, who keeps her career as a lawyer in the backseat. Her life takes a turn when a girl approaches Tanvi for a case, claiming that she worked hard for her exams but had failed. While unravelling the truth behind this mysterious result, the lawyer and the client come across a massive educational fraud where undeserving students get their marksheets swapped with other marksheets in exchange for a bribe. In the process, Tanvi encounters threats, and her family gets ruined.

Cast and crew

Helmed by Vivek Budakoti, Patna Shuklla stars Raveena Tandon, Anushka Kaushik, Manav Vij, Chandan Roy Sanyal, Jatin Goswami, and the late Satish Kaushik in pivotal roles. While the screenplay is written by Vivek, Sameer Arora, and Farid Khan, the film is produced by actor Arbaaz Khan, along with Ajay Chabbria and Sharda Singh as the executive producer.

Salman Khan promotes Patna Shuklla

Promoting Patna Shuklla, actor Salman Khan took to X and addressing Raveena, wrote, “Kabhi Linking Road, kabhi Cadell Road Kabhi Peddar Road, Kabhi Arthur Road Dhundha tumhein har jageh, Raveena Up to something new humein bataye bina? (Sometimes Linking Road, sometimes Cadell Road Sometimes Peddar Road, sometimes Arthur Road I searched for you everywhere, Raveena Up to something new without telling us?)”

Replying to this, Raveena wrote, “Na Turner road, na Carter road Milungi ab seedhe in Patna. Ban gayi hoon Tanvi Shuklla. Mera swagat zaroor karna! (Neither Turner Road nor Carter Road. Now I'll meet you straight in Patna. I have become Tanvi Shuklla. Be sure to welcome me!)”
