The Malayalam film Pattth, which was selected for the 29th International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) in 2024, has made its OTT premiere. The critically acclaimed film, written and directed by Jithin Issac Thomas, is now available for streaming on Manorama Max.
After screening festivals such as the IFFK, Jithin Issac Thomas’ Pattth has skipped the theatrical premiere and made a direct-to-OTT release on Manorama Max. The film started streaming on the Malayalam platform from June 6, 2025. The film is available in its original language with English subtitles. The film was picked in the ‘Malayalam Cinema Today’ category at the 29th IFFK and won favourable reviews.
Ashik Safiya Aboobakker and Gauthami Lekshmi Gopan play the lead roles in this film, which also features M Kethi, Cheriyakaalan, and Jasmine Kavya, among others. The film has music by Milan VS. Subhash Kumaraswamy is the DOP, while Anandhu Sheji Ajith is the editor.

The film follows Unni, who is a struggling movie editor. While he works on a Kenyan travel vlog, he is startled to find that his grandmother knows the tribal song and sings along with it. But not just his grandmom, more people from the state of Kerala seem to know the song. Now, Unni along with his girlfriend sets out to find the connection between the song and these people.
Jithin Issac Thomas had previously helmed the segment named Pra. Thoo. Mu in the anthology film, Freedom Fight. Sidhartha Siva, Unni Lalu, and R Bala play the other key roles in the segment, which was also penned by Jithin. You can watch Freedom Fight on SonyLIv and OTTplay Premium
He had also helmed the Attention Please, which also revolves around Hari who aspires to be a screenwriter but is often ridiculed by his roommates for failing to succeed. Vishnu Govind plays Hari in the film, which is available for streaming on Netflix.
