Ammy Virk and Sonam Bajwa starrer Puaada is the first Punjabi film to release in theatres worldwide on August 12, after a gap of over 17 months. Last week, the makers of this upcoming desi rom-com released a fun track titled Paunda Boliyaan. Earlier today, the team had shared a making video of the song.
The romantic track focuses on the couple's relationship and how they are dreaming about marriage and living with each other. The latest making video goes behind the scenes of a schedule shot in challenging weather conditions (chilly winter). Sonam is seen saying that Arvind Thakur choreographed moves that were hard to learn, while Ammy is effortlessly grooving on the track.
Talking about choreographing the song for Ammy and Sonam, Arvind Thakur shared, “Shooting songs with both Ammy and Sonam is always fun. They bring so much energy into everything they do, and when they are together they feed off each other’s natural chemistry. This makes the choreographer job so much easier.” He further added that both the actors are a widely loved on-screen couple in Punjab. While they have done several romantic numbers together, Arvind adds that it was challenging for him to choreograph a track that'll stand out from the others.
Right from the costumes to the terrific cinematography, everything about the song is refreshing. The Rupinder Chahal directorial has been produced by Atul Bhalla, Pawan Gill, Anurag Singh, Aman Gill, and Balwinder Singh Janjua. Meanwhile, Ammy is cast in a meaty role in Ajay Devgn’s Bhuj: The Pride of India, which also stars Sanjay Dutt, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi, Sharad Kelkar and Pranitha Subhash in pivotal roles. The upcoming war drama will be releasing on Disney+ Hotstar on August 13.
