Pavitra Rishta 2 begins shooting; THIS actor replaces Late Sushant Singh Rajput

Zee TV's popular daily soap Pavitra Rishta is undoubtedly loved by fans till date. The makers of the show have some good news for the fans as Pavitra Rishta 2.0 begins shooting. The second season of the popular show will see Ankita Lokande reprise her role as Archana while popular TV actor Shaheer Sheikh will be seen replacing late actor Sushant Singh Rajput as Manav. Along with Ankita and Shaheer in the lead roles, veteran actor Usha Nadkarni is also on board, reprising her role from the first season. The information of the other cast members is still kept under the wraps.

ALTBalaji's social media handle shared pictures from the mahurat, hinting that the upcoming season has gone on floors. Lead actress Ankita Lokhande also took to social media to reshare some mahurat shots and inform fans of the good news. Sharing the pictures on her Instagram, the actress wrote, “Sometimes in most ordinary lives, we find the most extraordinary love stories! Witness the extraordinary love story of Manav and Archana. #PavitraRishta Filming begins; streaming soon on #ALTBalaji #ItsNeverTooLate.”

The first season on the show always ranked up in the TRP game. The digital series will be produced by Bhairavi Raichura's 24 Frames Production. Pavitra Rishta 2.0 will be exclusively available to stream on Zee5 for 55 days, following which the show will also be available on ALTBalaji.

Pavitra Rishta 2.0 is directed by Nandita Mehra while the script is penned by Nikita Dhond, Gautam Hegde and Ritu Bhatia.
