Payal Rohatgi had recently spoken and written about Munawar Faruqui’s biased win on Lock Upp. She had stated that Kangana Ranaut tried to cover up for him after becoming friendly with Salman Khan. She was now heard staying true to her point but also adding that the makers probably had a setting with the winner’s PR team.
During a recent Zoom interaction with her fans, Payal hinted that the makers – MX Player and AltBalaji – probably had a ‘setting’ with Munawar Faruqui’s PR team. She said so after one of her fans pointed out how their comments got restricted and they got banned from the channel after leaving four back-to-back comments.

The fan was talking to Payal about the Shivam Sharma incident, where he called her a chudail and did things in the name of entertainment. He said that people would hit at Payal’s supporters and tag them as ‘chudail’ too, in a time when women are burned in the village under the same presumption.
He actually pointed out that while there was no moderation on the comments against her, when somebody tried to support her by sending back-to-back messages, their account would be blocked after the fourth message.
Payal agreed with that and continued by stating that even her fiancé Sangram Singh told her the same thing. “Neither he nor his friends could not write comments on the channel,” she shared.
“MX Player probably had a ‘setting’ from before with the winner’s PR team. I don’t know exactly but I can believe what you are saying,” Payal told her fan.
The fan gave an update on how the fans were treated and said that AltBalaji reverted back only in the last week (Grand Finale week) and stopped banning them. Nonetheless, their messages would be restricted after four times.
Payal was constantly tagged as the badass of Lock Upp. Kangana and producer Ekta Kapoor gave her the tag and at the Grand Finale, she was declared the first runner-up while Munawar picked up the trophy.
