Pechi out on OTT: Directed by Ramachandran B, the story follows a group of friends encountering an evil spirit while trekking in the forest

We had earlier reported that the 2024 released film Pechi will be making its OTT debut soon. The horror thriller film, starring Gayathrie Shankar and Bala Saravanan, is now available for streaming on Aha Tamil. Alternatively, the film can also be streamed on OTTplay Premium app which can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play Store.

Following its big screen debut and theatrical run, Pechi, the 2024 horror thriller film has premiered on Aha Tamil. It is also made available on OTTplay Premium. It stars Gayathrie Shankar and Bala Saravanan in the lead roles.
Pechi is written and directed by Ramachandran B, and is produced by Gokul Benoy and Shaik Mujeeb. Vignesh Selvarajan, Dhanishtan Fernando, Rajarajan Gnanasambandam, and Sanjai Shankar serve as co-producers of Pechi, under the banners Veyilon Entertainment and Verus Productions.
The film revolves around a bunch of friends who decide to go trekking for a weekend trip. However, as they venture into the forest and cross a line that they are barred from, they tap an evil spirit who begins to haunt them. The rest of the film is about how they will survive the supernatural entity.
Pechi has music scored by Rajesh Murugesan and Parthiban D.F. Tech as the cinematographer. Kumar Kangappan and Ignatious Aswin have worked on the art direction and edits respectively. Apart from Gayathrie Shankar and Bala Saravanan, the rest of the cast includes Dev Ramnath, Preethi Nedumaran, Jana, Mageshwaran, Seeniammaal and others.
Pechi will be the newest addition to Aha Tamil’s catalogue. The platform has been acquiring post-theatrical digital rights of many Tamil films, including Mission: Chapter 1, horror thriller Devil, Santhanam's period comedy-drama Vadakkupatti Ramasamy, Birthmark, crime thriller Ranam Aram Thavarel, social drama Hot Spot, Boomer Uncle, The Boys, Veppam Kulir Mazhai, Vijay Antony's Romeo, Kurangu Pedal, Haraa, Sarathkumar-starrer Hit List and Arjun Das' mystery thriller Rasavathi.
