Anurag Kulkarni and Chaitra Ambadipudi crooned for the number composed by Mickey J Meyer and written by Kalyana Chakravarthi
Virat Karrna and Pragati Srivastava
Srikanth Addala, conventionally known for his family entertainers and romances like Kotha Bangaru Lokam, Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu, changed gears to handle an action drama Narappa and did a good job of it. He's wielding the megaphone for another gripping drama that introduces Virat Karrna to Telugu cinema. Pragati Srivastava plays the female lead in the film produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy of Dwaraka Creations, the banner that backed Akhanda previously.
After making noise with the recent glimpse of the film, the makers unveiled the first single Chanuvuga Chusina, filmed on the lead pair, today. Mickey J Meyer composes the music for the action drama. Anurag Kulkarni and Chaitra Ambadipudi have sung the melody written by budding lyricist Kalyana Chakravarthi, in the news recently for Bro. Shot across rustic locations, capturing the intimacy between a lovestruck couple, the mellifluous number is an instant charmer.
'Hrudayamulo..alajadi kaana..kurisene ila nee valana..arere arere thana vaatame..asale padadhe mohamatame,'the breezy track's opening lines read while the composition has all the ingredients you expect from a Mickey J Meyer melody. Anurag Kulkarni intentionally sings it mildly, as if he's whispering, to suggest it's an expression of the protagonist's mind and Chaitra's husky rendition is an asset to the mood of the song.
The number is filled with montages of the lead pair in scenic locations in the countryside. Chota K Naidu's experience is quite visible in his frames and how he captures the expressions of the actors and the rustic beauty of the locations. Rao Ramesh, Naga Babu, Tanikella Bharani, Brigada saga, Rajeev Kanakala, Anusuya, Eeshwari Rao, Naren form the supporting cast of the film. Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor and Raju Sundaram is the choreographer respectively.
