The story revolves around a man named Prasad, who is forced into marriage by the heroine’s family through lies and deceit. How Prasad deals with the situation forms the crux of the film.

Sapthagiri, who made heads turn with Prema Katha Chitram, has been known for his unique brand of comedy. Naturally, similar expectations were set for Pelli Kani Prasad, but unfortunately, it failed to meet them and flopped at the box office.
