Pellikuturu Party: Director Aparna Malladi's rom-com, starring Prince, Arjun Kalyan, Aneesha Dama gets a new release date

Actors Prince Cecil, Arjun Kalyan, Aneesha Dama, Kirrak Seetha, Sai Ketan Rao and Jaiyetri Makana are joining hands for a breezy romantic comedy titled Pellikuturu Party. The film is written and directed by Aparna Malladi, who shot to fame with her feature film The Anushree Experiments and the web show on YouTube, Posh Poris. AVR Swamy has bankrolled the film under Pruthvi Creations. The film is all set to hit theatres for the summer season on May 20. A media interaction was held recently to announce the same.

The film revolves around a bachelorette party. It tells the story of Eesha (played by Aneesha Dama), who is having trouble in forging genuine relationships in her life. Her sister Nandini is all set to get married. Just when it seems smooth going for all, Eesha lands in an awkward situation with her future brother-in-law Krish. Soon, Eesha, her sister and their cousins go on a bachelorette trip, accompanied by their grandmother Kameswari. Little do they know that the ride would change their lives beyond their imagination.

Pellikuturu Party will cater to the tastes of all kinds of audiences, said an assured Aparna Malladi while the producer AVR Swamy shared that the film was shot two years ago and the release had to be delayed owing to COVID-19. This is a largely a humourous film and Aparna has made it with a lot of passion, he said. 

The lead actress Aneesha Dama said that she and the entire team can't wait to watch the film on the big screen. "The film was made with a lot of love and we hope audiences enjoy it at the theatres. It makes for a perfect family viewing and the collaboration with Northstar Entertainment was just the icing on the cake," she added. Prince stated that Sweekar Agasthi's music for the film is one of the major highlights and that Pellikuturu Party will be a refreshing experience for viewers.

Arjun Kalyan concurred with Prince in crediting the composer and also the cinematographer Naren Elan for enhancing the musical and visual appeal of the film. Other actors Sai Ketan, Jaiyetri, Phani too promised a fun outing for one and all, while thanking the director, producer for the opportunity. Earlier, the film was to release on November 26 in 2021, but was postponed.
