Pen Marudhar bags distribution rights for Kamal Haasan's Vikram in Hindi

Pen studios' Distribution division Pen Marudhar has acquired the Hindi distribution rights of Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan’s Vikram. After Gangubai Kathiawadi and RRR, Dr. Jayantilal Gada’s Pen Marudhar has sealed the Hindi release of Lokesh Kanagaraj's upcoming directorial, Vikram. 

The film's production house shared the information on its social media handle, "We are fired up to be partnering with #PenMarudhar for the North India theatrical release of #Vikram #KamalaHaasan #VikramFromJune3 @ikamalhaasan @Dir_Lokesh @VijaySethuOffl #FahadhFaasil @anirudhofficial #Mahendran @RKFI @PenMovies @jayantilalgada @turmericmediaTM (sic)" The film have Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles and will hit screens on June 3.

It was only yesterday that the team of Vikram had announced that Disney + Hotstar has bagged the digital rights of the film. The digital streaming partner made the announcement on its social media page, "Here's the #BigAnnouncement #Vikram #DigitalStreamingPartner #DisneyplusHotstar (sic)" 

In the meantime, the trailer and soundtrack will be out on May 15. The production house wrote, "Firing up your playlists with @anirudhofficial 's explosive tracks for Vikram From May 15. #VikramAudioLaunch #KamalHaasan #VikramFromJune3 @ikamalhaasan @Udhaystalin @Dir_Lokesh @VijaySethuOffl #FahadhFaasil #Mahendran @turmericmediaTM @SonyMusicSouth @RedGiantMovies_ (sic)." Music for the film is by Anirudh Ravichander.

Vikram has an ensemble star cast that includes Antony Verghese, Narain, Kalidas Jayaram, Arjun Das, Gayathrie Shankar, Shanvi Srivastava,Shivani Narayanan, Chemban Vinod Jose, Sampath Ram and Hareesh Peradi. Cinematography is by Girish Gangadharan and editing is by Philomin Raj. Vikram marks Anirudh's second collaboration with Kamal Haasan after Indian 2. 

The film's official title teaser used a remixed version of the theme song from the 1986 film of the same name that starred Kamal Haasan. While Shibu Thameens had bagged the Kerala distribution rights of the film, Udhayanidhi Stalin's production house will distribute the film in Tamil Nadu. Vikram NFTs will be launched at the Cannes Film Festival 2022.
