Filmmaker Guru Deshpande's next film, Pentagon, which stars Kishore, Prakash Belawadi, P Ravishankar, Pruthvi Ambaar and Apoorva in lead roles, has piqued everyone's interest. The film is titled Pentagon because it is an anthology of five different stories helmed by five different filmmakers, including Guru.
The 3D poster of the film was launched online by Real Star Upendra, and the first teaser came out on January 18. After its release, the teaser, which showed Kantara's Kishore as a Kannada activist, courted controversy for allegedly portraying Kannada activists in a bad light.
Now, the filmmaker has announced that a lyrical video for a song from the film will be released soon.
The lyrical video of Baa Horage Baa, from the third story in the anthology, will be released online at 5:05 pm on January 20. The makers have chosen the unique time of 5:05 pm to keep with the theme of five stories in the film.
Baa Horage Baa is a song from the part of the anthology that has been directed by actor-director Raghu Shivamogga. Prakash Belawadi, who was last seen in Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's superhit film Pathaan, plays the lead in the segment. The suspense thriller also stars Prerana Kambam and Sagar Gowda.
Apart from Guru and Raghu, the other directors of Pentagon are Akash Srivatsa, Chandra Mohan and Kiran Kumar. Pruthvi Ambaar and Pramod Shetty also star in the film. While Pruthvi will be seen in Guru's segment, Pramod will feature in Chandra's segment.
The idea of Pentagon reportedly took shape during the first COVID-19 lockdown in 2020. While the anthology is based on death and its consequences, each story falls under a different genre but is said to be connected to a book.
Guru Deshpande is the creative head, producer, and director of one of the five segments of Pentagon. The anthology stars Kishore, Prakash Belawadi, Pruthvi Ambaar, Pramod Shetty, P Ravishankar and Apoorva, among others. Apart from Guru, the other directors are Raghu Shivamogga, Akash Srivatsa, Chandra Mohan and Kiran Kumar. The film is slated to release soon in theatres.
