Perfume: Debutant Che Nag, Pataas actress Prachi Thaker unite for a psycho-thriller; here’s the teaser

Thrillers are the order of the day in Telugu cinema and the statement holds true for all films, irrespective of their scale. Another gritty thriller titled Perfume is set to greet Telugu audiences. The film introduces Che Nag to the industry while Pataas, Vitamin She actress Prachi Thaker is cast as the female lead. Written and directed by JD Swamy, Perfume is bankrolled by J Sudhakar, Shiva B, Rajkumar B, Srinivas Lavuri, Rajender Kanukuntla, Sridhar Akkineni (USA) under Fragrance Manifestation.

The teaser of Perfume was launched earlier today. In the teaser, the protagonist Vedha is introduced as a womaniser who is relentlessly chasing women regardless of the situation or place. His problematic behaviour sends shockwaves among women in the city. A police officer is committed to nabbing Vedha when a woman falls prey to his advances. A psychiatrist later informs that he is not obsessed about women but their smell and that it drives him crazy.

Vedha is uncontrollable when a woman resists his advances and a team is working round the clock to find him. The psychiatrist warns that it’s important to catch hold of him before he turns a psychopath. Abhinaya Anand, Meghraj Ravindra, Keshav Deepak, Baba Meer, Lavanya Reddy and Geethanjali Tasya essay other important roles in Perfume. The gripping background score contributes to the tension in the glimpse. Ajay Arasada has scored the music for the thriller.

Ram K Mahesh has cranked the camera for the film edited by Prawin Pudi. Chandrabose has penned the lyrics while his better-half Suchitra (Chandrabose) and Anna Raj are the choreographers. PG Vinda is the technical head for the team.
