A glimpse of every character in Perilloor Premier League can be seen in the video titled The World of Perilloor, which was released by the makers on December 23. The webseries will be available to stream in Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, and Bengali on Disney+ Hotstar on January 5.
The video gives viewers an idea of the humorous characters in this web series and suggests some of their traits.
A comedy riot and fun-filled mayhem in a village during a panchayat election are hinted at in Perilloor Premier League’s trailer that was out earlier this month. Additionally, Nikhila Vimal plays Malavika, the candidate contesting against Ashokan's character Peethambaran. The cast of the webseries, which includes Sunny Wayne, Ashokan, Vijayaraghavan, and Aju Varghese, was featured in the poster that was uploaded on Nikhila's social media page on November 11.
Praveen Chandran directed this webseries. He had worked as the chief associate director of Tovino Thomas’ Luca and of Dulquer Salmaan’s Kurup. Kunjiramayanam-fame Deepu Pradeep has penned Perilloor Premier League, which is bankrolled by E4 Entertainment.
Other Malayalam series on Disney+ Hotstar
Kerala Crime Files- Shiju, Parayil Veedu, Neendakara was the first Malayalam webseries to stream on Disney+ Hotstar. Ahammed Khabeer directed the six-episode series, starring Aju Varghese, Lal, Navas Vallikkunnu, Devaki Rajendran, and Zhinz Shan.
Another Malayalam webseries that was notable for its satirical performances on the platform was Sharaf U Dheen and Nitya Menon's Masterpeace. The webseries focused on a peculiar family headed by a struggling yet confident businessman, Binoy, and his wife, Ria.
Nikhila Vimal’s line-up for 2024
Nikhila was recently seen in Tamil web series Mathagam, which also stars Atharvaa and Manikandan, and Journey of Love 18+ (streaming on SonyLiv). The actress will be playing a lead role along with Prithviraj Sukumaran in Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil. In addition, she has Malayalam films Thaaram and Orujaathi Jathakam, as well as Mari Selvaraj’s film Vaazhai in Tamil, lined up for the coming year.
