Perusu OTT partner: Where to stream the latest Tamil adult comedy on a hush-hush post mortem condition

Perusu, the 2025 Tamil film which released in theatres on March 14, is an adult comedy film starring Sunil, Vaibhav, and others. The film’s post-theatrical streaming rights have been bagged by Netflix, and will premiere after it finishes the theatrical run.

While adult comedies and movies on taboo issues are a rarity in Indian cinema, especially in Tamil, the recently released Perusu seems to break the norm. An A-rated film for its central core, Perusu is a film that talks about an old man who dies with a condition of post-mortem erection, making it difficult for the family members to conceal it from the villagers and conduct his funeral.

The film released in theatres on March 14, and streaming giant Netflix has bagged its post-theatrical streaming rights of the film. Perusu will premiere on Netflix after its theatrical run. An OTT release date will be announced soon.

Perusu stars real-life brothers Sunil and Vaibhav in the leading roles, supported by a cast comprising of Niharika NM in her debut, Chandini, Deepa Shankar, Redin Kingsley, Bala Saravanan amongst others. The film is written and directed by Ilango Ram who has also made the film in Sinhalese.

Where to watch Sshhh, Tamil anthology on lust on OTT?

While it sporadic to have Tamil content that talks about taboo topics, Sshhh is a Tamil anthology which talks about sex and lust. The four-part film is available for streaming on Aha Tamil and OTTplay Premium to watch at discounted prices. 

The four segments are titled Kamathupaal, Reload, Vaanmathi, and Eni Ellam. They will range from telling the importance of sex education, to expressing lust and love by individuals from various walks of life. Sshhh is helmed by multiple directors, including Prithivi Adithya, Vaali Mohan Das, Harish GY, and IB Karthikeyan. The latter is also backing the project under the banner Big Print Pictures.
