Perusu, the recently released Tamil adult comedy drama starring Vaibhav, Sunil and others, is now available for streaming. The film made its OTT debut with Netflix. An adaptation of Sinhalese film Tentigo, Perusu is available in multiple languages to stream, including, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. The film stars Ranam Aram Thavarel actor Vaibhav and Sunil in the lead roles.

The 2025 Tamil film Perusu’s OTT rights have been bagged by Netflix. The film released in theatres in March, and following its theatrical run, it is now available for streaming on the platform. Perusu is an adult comedy film for its core theme.
A remake of Sinhalese film Tentigo helmed by Ilango Ram, Perusu features the director reprising his role for the Tamil version as well. The film revolves around the sudden demise of a much-respected old man in a village. However, his family finds it embarrassing to conduct funeral for him, given he dies with post mortem erection, and the growing suspicion of the villagers cause further hurdles.
Acting brothers Vaibhav and Sunil Reddy play siblings onscreen as well. Others supporting the cast including popular social media influencer Niharika NM in her Tamil debut, Chandini Tamilarasan, Deepa Shankar, Redin Kingsley, Bala Saravanan, VTV Ganesh, Karunakaran, Munishkanth and others. Perusu is produced by Stone Bench Films, Baweja Studios and Ember Light Studio.
Hansal Mehta to remake Tentigo in Hindi
Hindi filmmaker Hansal Mehta, who is known for his works like Scam 1992 , Scam 2003, and Scoop, will be remaking the adult comedy in Hindi. While who will be playing the roles are not yet announced, the film will be produced by Sahil Saigal and Mukesh Chhabra. Karan Vyas will be adapting the film to Hindi. A release date and title are yet to be announced by the makers.
